It all started when...

Carl and Lela Blanton left one half of the family farm to their daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Larry Voss.  The farm was owned by Carl's parents before they died and was the land on which he was raised.  

With grateful hearts and wanting to leave a legacy worthy of the memory of Cliff & Cora Jane Blanton and Carl & Lela Blanton,  Rhonda & Larry made the decision to begin the Broad River Abundant Life Foundation and build the retreat center on this farm.  Located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina it is the perfect location to also fulfill Rhonda & Larry's desire to contribute something that would leave a significant impact on those who suffer from the effects of domestic violence and abuse.
